Rebecca Rosenblat is well known as one of Canada’s leading relationship, sexuality, and healing experts, who has reached a captive audience of millions across North America. Some of Rebecca’s accomplishments include, hosting three TV shows, two call-in radio shows, running sold-out seminars, keynoting at various conferences and trade shows, authoring several books and advice columns, and becoming a popular voice with the media. Rebecca is a professional member of AASECT, AAMFT, & OAMFT.
As a psychology graduate from the University of Toronto, Rebecca’s credentials earned her an incredible opportunity to work at Canada’s most prestigious psychiatric facility – The Clarke Institute. During this time, she became a popular international lecturer, published in several medical and psychiatric journals, and nurtured her counselling skills. After years of service at the Clarke, Rebecca shifted her healing focus from psychiatric illnesses to relationship issues, becoming involved in sex therapy, relationship counselling and life coaching. As well, she became a certified mediator through the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and specialized in the most current individual, relationship and sex therapies, through various accredited institutions. Rebecca’s higher training includes: Emotionally Focussed Therapy for Couples; Attachment, Affect, and Accelerated Psychotherapy for Individuals; Rewriting Love Stories for Divorcing Couples; Integration of Sexual and Marital Therapies; Diagnosis and Treatment of Sexual Issues for Individuals and Couples; Treatment of Complicated Couples and Challenging Cases; A Radical Approach to Forgiveness and Healing of Intimate Wounds; and Life Coaching.
Beyond her vast experience, research and education, Rebecca also pursued her love of writing (both fiction and non-fiction) and became a published author with coveted reviews on various titles. Her unique background allowed her to develop a presentation style which is at once educational and entertaining. For this reason, Rebecca was chosen to create, produce and host two highly rated, call-in, radio shows – a nightly, sex talk show for Mojo Radio (AM 640), and a healthy lifestyle show for CHWO Radio (AM 740). On the TV circuit, Rebecca is currently hosting a live, call-in show, Sex @ 11 with Rebecca, is the Body Image Specialist on Plastic Makes Perfect for Slice Network, and has previously hosted Between the Sheets with Rebecca Rosenblat for W Network, and co-hosted and co-created Pre-Nup Challenge for Vision TV.
